Private tuitions can be booked in your own home at a mutually agreeable time. Just use the contact form and give your address and the suggested time and day. Lessons are charged at 20 Euros per hour (35 Euros for a two hour session).

How the tuitions work:

• A laptop computer is used for a variety of visual and audio exercises.

• Visual aids are used heavily. Flashcards form the basis of all lessons and conversation is based on the pictures using phrases and slogans to describe the picture.

• Short video clips are used, often humorous, to illustrate the vocabulary in that particular lesson.
  
  Students find they are able to not only learn new words but also the feelings, and attitudes and tone of voice associated with those words from watching the video.

• Grammar is NOT taught! Does that sound strange? Think about it. When you were learning your native language how did you learn the grammar? Naturally. It comes with learning the language.
  
  Actually, the very process of teaching grammar prevents a student from learning it. From constant usage through the lessons, students ABSORB the grammar naturally and begin to develop a sense of what sounds right.

• 

  Each student is encouraged to use an MP3 player. Each lesson is summarized by the instructor and the MP3 file is available for students to copy to their MP3 players so they can repeat the lesson many times during the week.
  
  Repetition is a key factor when learning to speak English and students can repeat the lesson as often as they like in the comfort of their own homes, when driving to work, or whenever they find it possible.

• Considerable attention is given to the top 50 words that make up over 30% of spoken English. Learn how to use words such as: on, in, and, of, that, with, a, to, for, etc. and see a leap in your fluency within a short time!

Every effort is made to make the challenge of learning to speak English a fun, interesting, and satisfying process.
